I think it is pretty obvious that I am obsessed with jewelry - and the bigger and more of a wow factor, the better. Needlesstosay, I fell head-over-heels when I came across the seriously gorgeous baubles by 1of My Kind - I am lusting after her hefty cocktail rings! Check out her Etsy shop here.
Gorgeous earrings at Barneys New York - I love that nature continues to be such a popular motif in design. {Above: clockwise from top; Rosanne Pugliese, Ten Thousand Things and Cathy Waterman}
I have been a fan of Linea Nervenkitt for years - but the stark simplicity of her new line truly moves me...
Black steel... meet diamonds - by Pat Flynn at Twist...
Love these new pieces by Cosa Fina...
New lovelies at my favorite shop for affordable uber-glam accessories; if I had not just bought the Kenneth Jay Lane serpent ring I posted here – that beauty would be mine – looks like it will have to settle for wishlist status for now. How I would love a rock like that about my neck - and the calfskin clutches studded with Swarovski crystal are especially delish…
Though my daughter Ayla is named for the Terebinth tree – the tree that my husband and I planted on our first date at the Jewish National Forest in Israel – her name is also translated in Hebrew to Oak Tree. Naturally, I could not resist picking up this gold-dipped Leafy Oak leaf in the Black Hills. Upon arriving home I added the aquamarine, as it is Adie’s birthstone. I can’t seem to take this off! And to my delight, as we were enjoying the Living History Days in Nebraska City this weekend (home of the Arbor Day Foundation), I found gold dipped Pointed Oak leaf earrings – I will have to add some embellishments to those as well – ahhh – I love Fall. For Autumn inspired piece, be sure to visit one of my favorite designers – Dreams&Jewelry whose new collections are truly breathtaking!
I am in love, love, love with the work of designer Emily Barnes of Blossom Luxe. Her pieces are all at once sophisticated and ethereal. Her Etsy shop is full of luscious jewels like the Sea Nymph earrings pictured above. And if you are an aspiring jewelry designer, or simply need your fill of eye candy, be sure to also check out Emily’s blog where you will find well written and easy to follow beading tutorials. What a find!
