I know this has made the design blog rounds sometime ago - but I can't stop staring at it. Wall hanging by Iso Satakieli for Marimekko - available at Textile Arts.

My new daily obsession - Mav from Port2Port and Stephanie from Little Birds have created a truly unique venture - 3191. The visual blog highlights an image from both Mav and Stephanie each morning - and though 3,191 miles apart, there is an exceptional quality of harmony in the photographs each day. It is not only visually inspiring, but it encourages my new mantra of slowing down - and eating better! {their breakfasts always look divine!} Be sure to visit daily - you will soon be addicted - as am I...
{the above images are from the entries on 23 January 2007 - the top is by Mav, the bottom by Stephanie}
I am completely enraptured with the almost goth-like qualities of Amelie Hegardt's fashion illustrations... see more of her work here.
A guilt-free holiday gift for myself - LOVE it! At My Little Underground {via port2port Holiday Gift Guide}
A little dark - a little quirky - prints and paintings at Little Paper Airplanes. {Mon Ami by Rachel Sumpter}
I truly heart flickr – it never disappoints – this image by andertho was taken at the entrance of Rock Creek Parkway in DC; it is hypnotically powerful. On a different note, finally having the floors refinished has given me the convenient excuse to get out of town with my mom and the girls and take a road trip to Atlanta. It has been so long since I have been there and I can’t wait – if anyone has suggestions on shopping, etc – please feel free to drop me a line or post a comment. I will be back in a couple of weeks but do have some posts ready to go – and of course with Mac tagging along – I will be able to post on the road… have a lovely weekend!
I am not sure what it is, but I have thing for black rabbits and white bunnies. This photo, by Guido Vitti who shoots for such names as Volkswagen and Virgin Mobile, seems innocent upon first glance, but there is a dark depth to it – I can’t take my eyes off of it. For more of Vitti’s work, click here.
Just a quick post today as I am knee-deep in finally changing my retail store from a .net to a .com {yeah!} – Andrea Wicklund is a San Francisco based illustrator – and one of my favorite discoveries – be sure to peek inside her sketchbook – it is lovely divine…

Jeff Zimmerman’s latest collection for Steuben is a stunning example of a developed craft meeting a modern aesthetic. There are six primary pieces in the collection – each representational of influences of nature and include tree trunks and fallen logs. The overtly organic form is a Zimmerman signature and these pieces embody the art form at its finest.
