blossom...
The September issue of Elle Décor is really rather wonderful – and though I fell deeply in love with the Krakoff’s Southampton beach house, I was smitten by the chandelier hanging in the dining area of Nadja Swarovski’s London flat. In 2002, Swarovski commissioned Dutch designer, Tord Boontje to create a multi-functional lighting piece utilizing their illustrious crystals – the result was the Blossom Chandelier. Not only is the piece a unique and somewhat avant-garde approach to the traditional chandelier – it possesses remote activation to control the brightness as well as the option to make the piece blink. If it looks familiar, you probably know Boontje’s Garland Chandeliers, which have been the darling of print media for sometime. I think the way this piece is used in this space in particular is fantastic – especially the balance created by the shooting stems of snapdragons!

This interior is gorgeous, love the plant and ceiling light combo.
