Tilly

While flipping through the new BUST magazine a few days ago, I was gobsmacked to see an article on my hometown of Omaha, Nebraska. The writer, Kianna Alarid, a member of the local-gone-national band Tilly and the Wall mentions some of the coolest spots in town – one of them being Second Chance which is always the first place I scavenge for antique keyholes and belt buckles!  In honor of the article and because I am starting to really get all glowy about this town again, I have started a new category called Ode to Omaha in which I will write about some of the hipper things and people who shape the Downtown/Mid-town spirit that makes this place border on damn cool.  And speaking of Tilly and the Wall – check out there latest effort, Bottom of Barrels, where you can listen to their signature heel-clicking folk-tune happiness!  And be sure to check out their website – it is beyond cool!  Click here to listen and buy.
