why am i here?
Having been a rather late bloomer to the blog universe – I was unsure whether or not it was something that I would relate to – let alone use. After coming across several blogs that belong to designers and artists, not only did inspiration strike, but the realization that you truly create a blog for yourself – a place in which to collect ideas – a visual inspiration board and a central location for organizing thoughts and images that apply to my interests. So, I hopped aboard the blog-wagon!
As a jewelry designer and aspiring interior designer, I seem to find inspiration everywhere I look as of late. Line, form and color are at the forefront of my everyday lookout – I cannot get enough of graphic black and white images and silhouettes, old-school Hollywood glamour, Post-Modern design and Abstract Impressionism. The most intriguing aspect of such a grouping is attempting to figure out how they can work harmoniously within a space – or even more challenging – in a piece of jewelry. Needlesstosay, the sketchbooks are filling up and the creation process is beginning to unfold…
{Believing that children are never too young to have a vision and artistic voice, I gave Adie Fey a large stretched canvas and black tempura paint – I am awe struck at her sense of balance…}
